The Piratininga Lagoon Series (2022–2023) portrays the lagoon as a natural heritage site of Niterói, highlighting its fauna, flora, and ecological diversity.

Initiated during the pandemic, the research stems from observing the silent degradation of the ecosystem—pollution, sewage dumping, and loss of aquatic life—and proposes a sensitive selection of the species that inhabit it. Through acrylic paintings on canvas and watercolor studies, the work investigates the textures and colors of the landscape, inviting reflection on environmental preservation.
